The South Killingly Fire Department exists to Protect the Citizens of the District from Emergencies and Disasters through Fire Suppression, Emergency Medical Services, Hazardous Material Mitigation, Fire Prevention, and Public Education Programs.

The South Killingly Fire Department serves the District of South Killingly in the town of Killingly. It covers approximately 21 square miles.
South Killingly is an unmanned volunteer station housing an Engine, Engine-Tanker, Brush Truck, Light Rescue, Boat, UTV and Technical Rescue Trailer.
The fire district board of directors meets every month on the 3rd Tuesday at 7pm at the fire station. All South Killingly fire taxpayers are welcome to attend if they have comments questions or concerns.
